Project Overview

Create a proof of concept for Toysaholic, an e-commerce platform designed for parents to discover and purchase toys for their children. Beyond shopping, it allows parents to share and recycle toys within a community, promoting sustainability among new and experienced parents.

Research

Developing a proof of concept (POC) required selecting suitable UX research methods, analysing data, and designing a validated concept.

Problem Statement & Project Objective

I was tasked with designing a proof of concept for Toysaholic, an e-commerce website for children's toys, to differentiate it from existing platforms. The goal was to create a seamless, modern user experience for next-generation parents, incorporating unique features like toy sharing and recycling to promote sustainability. The challenge was to design an intuitive, engaging platform that addresses market gaps and fosters a community-driven approach to toy shopping.

Developing and Defining the process of the POC

This e-commerce website aims is to create a sustainable community between new parents and experienced parents where parents can explore, share and recycle toys for the next generations safely and sustainably.  Before developing this idea, it was important to understand what products and experiences exist presently so that I can develop a concept that can improvise the overall experience of creating an e-commerce website for parents to buys toys from.
